CHECK IN-OUT : Check in is between 2pm - 9:30pm on the day of arrival.  After hours arrivals are welcome, please contact the onsite manager to arrange this.  Check out by 10am on the day of departure. A later check-out may be possible, please contact reception should you require this (a charge may apply).
 

CANCELLATIONS received prior to 3 days of scheduled arrival will incur no charge/s. For cancellations received within 3 days of arrival the first night of accommodation may be charged to the credit card supplied or invoiced to guest. If guest fails to arrive prior to 10am the day following scheduled arrival date, all accommodation booked will be charged in full.  Up to one month cancellation notice will be required for peak holiday dates.  Special cancellation terms and conditions apply to group bookings.
All non-refundable bookings are pre-paid, non-refundable and non-transferable.
 

RATES on this website do not apply to group bookings.  Please contact motel management for rates and special payment/cancellation terms and conditions for group bookings.
 

CHANGES to reservation: An extension to reservation term is a new booking and subject to availability. Any reduction in length of stay will be treated as a cancellation and subject to our standard cancellation policy.
 

SMOKING is not permitted in any of the rooms. Guests are welcome to smoke outside away from door ways and open windows. If smoking occurs within the rooms, motel management reserves the right to charge specialist cleaning costs.
 

VISITORS are welcome but are not permitted on the premises after 10pm.   We ask you to respect your fellow guests and noise must be kept to a minimum past this time. Parties and noisy gatherings are not permitted at Lake Maraetai Lodge,  management reserves the right to terminate the stay of any guest that does not comply to this rule. 
 

DAMAGE/LOSS to the room or property of Lake Maraetai Lodge, whether intentional or accidental, will be the full responsibility of the registered guest.  Any charges incurred will be passed to the registered guest (including insurance excess) by debiting the credit card provided or by invoice.
 

PAYMENT TERMS:  Standard Rates - All reservations require a valid credit card.  The credit card will be debited for accomodation upon confirmation of booking unless other arrangements have been made or pay later is selected.  Full payment is required prior to departure unless arrangement has been made to invoice guest.  Guest will be liable for all costs incurred recovering an overdue account. We accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard

General Rules
High noise levels & offensive behaviour will not be tolerated.   Anyone behaving in this manner will be refused accommodation or asked to leave.  In such circumstances, refunds will not be given.

There will be a charge of $35.00 for lost keys.

Parents are responsible for their children at all times.

Vehicles parked on Lake Maraetai Lodge remises are left at owner’s risk. We strongly advise that no personal items be left in your vehicle overnight,

Bikes are not permitted in the rooms.  Bikes may be stored inside in the designated bike Storage rooms which contain charging points for Ebikes, additional charges will apply for this facility, please see the onsite manager for details.  Please ensure your bike is clean before you bring it inside to the bike storage areas.  You may use the Bike Cleaning station at the front of the building free of charge.
